Apparently the Lake Union Loop (Cheshiahud Trail) is 6.2 miles around, but I have to say that it felt more like 8 or 9 in the 90 degree heat yesterday! We started at Gasworks Park and went clockwise around what I consider to be one of the best in Seattle waterfront. Burke Gilman Trail to the University Bridge to Eastlake, South Lake Union, Westlake, the Fremont Bridge, and then the Burke-Gilman Trail again. I highly recommend it on a cooler day!
Even if you decide to just do a portion of the Lake Union Loop, it is definitely a perk of living around Lake Union! Let us know if you are interested in Lake Union Homes for sale or want to know some of our favorite spots along the loop!
